Nutritional factors and influence on body build.

Nutrition is to ensure nutrients needed to sustain life activity, healthy growth and reproduction. Good healthy food can improve the quality and length of life. Positive effects intensify if the diet is combined with other elements of a healthy lifestyle: fresh air, physical activity, rest, avoiding toxic substances and a good mental state. In the Czech Republic there are changes in eating habits in the last 20th years. The food consumption was a major coup in the volume and in the structure. Changes occurred in the availability of food from seasonal to year-round became available in grocery stores are spread in our fast food intake, and thus the sweet soft drinks. The number of sedentary jobs and reduce the physical activity. Obesity is defined as weight gain above the physiological limits due to accumulation of fat reserves. The theory of population and estimation of the stationary state

This diploma thesis focuses on the estimating of the time of possible future stationary state of population. Different theories of population are discussed and reviewed. The calorie model of food supply and demand is taken as the basis of the thesis. The research offers the estimated calorie model, the calculations of time of possible future stationary state and possible scenarios of future changes in the model.

Žabková, T. Trends in Food Consumption in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020. This diploma thesis deals with the development trends in food consumption in the Czech and Slovak Republic from 1989 to the present period. The basic trends in consumption per capita of chosen food types in these countries are ascertained through the regression analysis. Part of this work is evaluation and comparison of money expenses for food of Czech and Slovak households of employees, self-employed persons and pensioners. A growing trend has been shown in consumption of fruit, vegetables, poultry meat and cheese. On the other hand, consumption of following meals has during previous years decreased: bread, pork, beef, cow´s milk, butter, eggs and potatoes. The empirical analysis has clearly demonstrated that consumption trends of previous period significantly influence how much are Slovak and Czech households spending on food.
Socioekonomické a demografické souvislosti spotřeby potravin domácností v České republice

The thesis is focused on analysis of the socioeconomic and demographic context of food consumption. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to literary review of resources which is focused on regional disparities and food consumption. In the theoretical part are defined the selected socioeconomic and demographic indicators and similarly conceived approaches of food consumption. In the practical part of the thesis is introduced a brief description of selected territorial units, which are divided into clusters by the cluster analysis based on their similarity/dissimilarity in selected indicators. Based on the results of both cluster analyzes it was found that there is a certain context between the selected socioeconomic and demographic indicators and food consumption in households in the analyzed territorial units. Recommendations for improvement in underdeveloped regions are made in the end of the thesis.

Statistical analysis of changes in nutrition and health of Czech Republic population

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the statistical analysis of food consumption in years 1994 to 2014 and its prediction. It is also focused on the development of serious civilization diseases in years 2000 to 2014. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to healthy eating, food categories and theirs main components. The theoretical part also describes the nutritional pyramid and dietary guidelines issued by the Nutrition Society. Furthermore, the theoretical part presents demographic indicators and serious civilization diseases associated with a poor diet. The Bachelor thesis also includes demographic characteristics of the Czech Republic population, population consumer expenditure and their health. In the practical part are, because of the description of the evaluation development analysed indicators, determined their basic fundamental characteristics. The practical part also include the forecasts of analysed food consumption in the next five years. After that are the achieved results discussed with diet recommendations according to whether their consumption is excessive or insufficient. The conclusion contains the results summary of the analysis and defined suggestions and recommendations for change habits of the Czech population regarding proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of level and evolution of food consumption in Czech Republic in last twenty five years. It characterizes fundamental evolution trends in food consumption in wider socioeconomic context. It analyzes development of food consumption in terms of price-consumption interaction and also in terms of income-consumption interaction. It describes changes of business environment with emphasis on final stages of vertical food chains. It also describes structural changes in retail network and growth of market power of multinational retail chain on Czech market. This paper also determines factors, that influences consumer behavior while buying food products and describes new trends of food consumption.
The influence of nutrition on a children's state of health

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the food consumption in the Czech Republic in the context of the development of children's state of health. The theoretical part deals with the nutrition in general and its importance for a children's organism. The practical part is divided into two sections. The first part analyses the food consumption in the Czech Republic. The second part is dedicated to the development of the most frequent diseases connecting with the nutrition.

This thesis describes the issues related to proteins in human nutrition. It deals with their specific functions in the human body, their structure and the recommended daily intake, and the consequences of either a deficiency or an excess of protein in human nutrition. For this thesis, the work focused on various food sources and their nutritional value, any positive or negative effects on human health, and their availability to consumers. Two different sources were used to determine the preferences and consumption of proteins from either animal or vegetable origins. Information was gathered from public sources, as well as a questionnaire that was given to randomly selected individuals.
